Transdisciplinary Theme: How We Express Ourselves
Last week, we explored artwork displayed around our classroom and thought about what our new unit of inquiry might be. Several students said it might be “People have different perspectives” which is definitely on the right track!
We discussed that different art pieces made us feel differently, and we connected with each of them in a different way. They walked around with sticky notes and posted what emotion they felt. Later they were challenged to create art that matched the emotion of one of the art pieces.
