We love spending time in the woods! In math, we are just starting to learn about multiplication. Third graders took a hike through the woods looking for equal groups in nature. Later they drew what they found and practiced creating addition and multiplication equations that matched their pictures. They liked sharing some of their findings under the doc camera. 🙂
